We are a group whose members enjoy visiting interesting places, both homeand abroad, throughout the year.

All travellers take part in holidays or day trips at their own risk and are responsible for themselves, ensuring they are fit to take part particularly the ability to manage getting on and off coaches unaided. Members must have their own supply of personal medication and wear appropriate footwear, clothing etc.

It is important that members carry emergency contact name and number either on their phone, or a slip of paper in their phone case or in the front of their bag/wallet.  Any allergies and important medical conditions should also be noted.

Personal Travel insurance is obligatory for holidays abroad, and advisable for UK holidays and must be arranged personally by individuals going on any u3a holidays.  In terms of cancellations for holidays / day trips – no refunds will be given unless a replacement can be found. 

As organisers we cannot accept cheques made out to us as individuals.  Free places given by the holiday tour operators are shared amongst the participants for additional excursions etc. or used to defray incidental expenses such as the drivers’ gratuity, administration costs etc.
